At Deans Pharmacy, our journey began in 2006 when Arif & John, two pharmacists (and friends), came together with a simple vision: to provide high quality healthcare, with amazing service, in the heart of the community. From our roots in Ayrshire, we’ve grown steadily into a small, independent group of 10 modern pharmacies across central Scotland. As our reach expanded, we relocated our Head Office to Glasgow, giving us a more central base to support our teams and the people we serve.
Growth with Purpose – Our growth has never been about numbers-it’s been about people. Whether you visit us for everyday advice or more specialist services, we believe that healthcare should always feel personal, accessible, and reassuring. We’ve built our pharmacies to reflect that belief. Each one is designed with a bright, modern layout, fitted to a high standard, and staffed by friendly, knowledgeable teams who take the time to care.
More Than Just a Pharmacy – Every Deans Pharmacy features a dedicated health information section, keeping you informed with the latest NHS campaigns and health advice. We also offer private consultation rooms-spaces where you can talk openly with a pharmacist or access services like vaccinations, health checks, and more.
Community at Our Core – Even as we’ve grown, we’ve stayed true to our community roots. We’re proud to serve neighbourhoods across central Scotland, building long-lasting relationships with customers who trust us to support their health every day. At Deans Pharmacy, our story continues-but the goal remains the same: to offer trusted, compassionate care, in every one of our Pharmacies
We opened our first Pharmacy in Kilmarnock, and the Deans name and branding was born.
Deans became established across multiple communities with the opening of Deans Pharmacy Falkirk and Wishaw, as well as Ladywell Pharmacy in Livingston.
The acquisition of Welch Chemist -which later became Deans Pharmacy Newmains and Health Centre Pharmacy.
Despite the struggles throughout COVID, we welcomed the 4 McConnell Pharmacies to the group.
Bringing our total number of Pharmacies to 10!
2025 brings our new website, new vans, new prescription ordering app and a FRESH, NEW LOOK!
