About Us

about usDeans Pharmacy opened in Coltness Road in November 2010 after relocating from a temporary site just round the corner in Innerleithen Drive.  The Pharmacy was a welcome addition to the neighbourhood for the 5000 or so residents, who have long campaigned for new services to be introduced to Wishaw's largest suburb.

Local residents and in particular Coltness Community Council played a large and vocal part in the application to have a pharmacy in the area.  We are extremely grateful for the support and for the good will shown to us by everyone in Coltness.

We have sought to create a focal point for the community with a cutting-edge pharmacy that will be the envy of people from all over Lanarkshire.  Our friendly, knowledgeable staff, all from the local area are always on hand to help with all your healthcare needs.

Our bright and modern pharmacy is fitted-out to the highest standards, our consultation and treatment rooms are available for any private health matters that you wish to discuss and are also used for our wide range of health services and clinics.

Heather (Pharmacist)

Joining the team in July 2010 as our first Pre-registration Pharmacist, Heather states this as her key achievements and then successfully completing her training to become a qualified Pharmacist. Heather enjoys socialising with friends, going to the cinema and attending gigs and also keeping fit in her spare time.

Craig

Craig joined the team at Wishaw in September 2010 and currently works as an ACT. His key achievements are passing Pharmacy NVQ 3 and ACT course. In spare time Craig enjoys watching football, playing musical instruments and socialising with friends.

Eileen

Having over 20 years experience within Pharmacy, Eileen joined the team in September 2011 as a Dispenser. Eileen completed her training at Stow College specialising in Hospital Pharmacy and sees this as one of her key achievement as well as having the responsibility of looking after patients’ medicine trays. In spare time, Eileen custom makes and sells hand-made cards and children’s accessories.

Kym-Lianne

Kym is one of our newest Dispensers joining the Wishaw branch in February 2012. Qualified at NVQ 3 Dispensing Technician Course, Kym is also keen to further her training and become an ACT. Kym enjoys walking her dogs, exercising and spending time with friends and family.

Alison

Allison became part of the team in February 2012 as Healthcare Supervisor. She is keen to help provide the best customer service within Deans Pharmacy and also to help staff in any way she can. Allison enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, eating out and reading in her spare time.

Karen

As one of our Healthcare Assistants Karen joined our team in July 2010 and continues to provide an excellent standard of customer care to each customer that comes in to our pharmacy. In her spare time Karen enjoys socialising and travelling.

Heather

Heather recently joined our team in January 2012 as a Trainee Healthcare Assistant and also has the role of the collection and delivery service. Heather enjoys eating out, music and theatre in her spare time.
