About Us

about usLadywell Pharmacy opened in April 2010.  The pharmacy currently occupies temporary premises, but will very soon be relocating into a modern purpose built unit on the site of the old Pizza Base.

The opening of the pharmacy was hugely supported by local residents and in particular by Ladywell Community Council, who campaigned and petitioned in support of the plan.  We look forward to working closely with the community council and other local groups to achieve common goals for our community in Ladywell.  The newly opened Forestbank Community Centre located next to the pharmacy is a fantastic resource for all to use and we hope to support and help to develop initiatives in conjunction with the management committee to benefit the residents of Ladywell and the wider area.

Our friendly and helpful team are always on hand to offer advice and guidance on all your healthcare needs.   Our consultation and treatment room is always available for any private health matters that you wish to discuss and is also used for a wide range of health services and clinics we provide

Emma

Emma joined the team as a Pharmacist at Ladywell in June 2010. Her key achievements are becoming a Pharmacist, helping staff with Healthcare and Dispenser training and starting her independent prescriber course with Robert Gordon University. In spare time Emma enjoys going to the gym, attending classes like Zumba and Body Combat, reading, eating out and socialising with friends.

Claire

Having joined Ladywell Pharmacy in May 2010 as a Dispensery Assistant, Claire continues her training and is currently pursuing her NVQ 3 Dispensing Technician Course. In spare time, Claire enjoys singing, reading and attending the gym.

Fiona

Fiona joined the team in April 2010 as a Healthcare Assistant and is now working as a Dispenser. Her key achievements are gaining both her Healthcare Assistant certificate and Dispenser training. Also, knowing you can make a difference to someone’s life and help them whether that be giving helpful advice, listening to what customers have to say and giving reassurance is a rewarding part of her job. Fiona enjoys singing, dancing and socialising with friends and family.

Laura

Laura became part of the team in August 2010 as Healthcare Assistant. Gaining both certificates in Healthcare Assistant and Dispensary Assistant training are her key achievements and also being a valuable staff member of running the Smoking Cessation Service. Laura enjoys spending time with family, cooking, exercising and learning about history and medicine.

Candice

As one of our Healthcare Assistants Candice joined our team in April 2010. Candice has achieved successful completion of her Healthcare Interact Course and being involved with the Smoking Cessation Service that Ladywell Pharmacy provide. In her spare time Candice enjoys spending time with friends and family and is enjoying learning how to drive.
